The Back on Track Therapeutic Horse Back Pad uses state of the art Welltex fabric to create a pad perfect for warming up the horse's back before exercise. Welltex ceramic fabric reflects body heat to relax muscles Pad is 3ft x 4ft to cover the large muscles of the back D rings at the front allow you to attach a breast strap D rings at the rear allow you to attach a tail cord Nylon girth straps allow the use of a surcingle A velcro strip on the center of the pad can be detached and sewn into a blanket for extended use Not approved for use on pregnant mares.
Welltex fabric is made of polyester threads that have been impregnated with a fine ceramic powder. This ceramic powder reflects the horse's own body warmth back in the form of soothing FAR infrared thermal heat. This type of therapeutic heat can help alleviate pain associated with inflamed muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints and is just as useful for injury prevention as it is for recovery.
