Burlingham Arena Rail Letters Set of 8

When the box arrived & I opened the package one of the hooks that allow the letter to hang on a rail was broken. That did not bode well from the get go but you never know how rough the postal service can be with packages, so I super glued the hook back onto the letter. I hung the letters around the rail of my outdoor arena that same day, minus the one I had super glued, which was in the house setting. The following day, I came out to drive ( I do driven dressage) and one of the letters had fallen off the rail & face down into the stone dust. The hook on the back of a different letter had broken off as well. I noticed when I picked the letter up that the black of the printed letter was heavily scratched off, possibly from its landing face down in the stone dust. I brushed the stone dust off of the letter & really noticed that the smallest rub or scratch from the stone dust, my fingernail, or whatever, will take the printed letter right off the white base. That was strike two. I glue the hook back onto the second broken letter & surmised that I am not going to be able to let these hang on my arena rails out in the weather as I had intended. And, that if I want any longevity from this product I will have to hang them out each time I want to use them & carefully pack them away, so as not to scratch the letters off, when I’m done using them. What a pain in the rear! If I could give it zero stars, I would. Don’t waste your hard earned money.
