Durasola is a must have in your barn for keeping healthy feet and happy horses. This product will create a tough, natural pad between your horse’s sole and the world’s often hostile environment. An aldehyde-based sole dressing that is formulated to harden the equine exfoliating sole and frog. Extremely effective in enhancing the protective capabilities of the hoof without affecting the proximal sensitive sole or frog. A highly concentrated product, use a small amount for big results.
Durasole aids in relieving sole soreness and is widely used on horses that work or perform as well as horses transitioning from shod to barefoot. Can also be used on horses that have naturally softer or harder to keep feet.
Durasole works by swelling and thickening the cell membranes of the exfoliating sole, not by coating the sole with impermeable oils. Does not contain copper napthenate or any essential oils. Because of Durasole’s unique formulation, it can be used for extended periods of time on chronically thin-soled horses without fear of drying out the foot as it does not compromise the moisture balance of the hoof (when used as directed).
Since 1978, Durasole has been one of the best-kept secrets in the horse world. Distributed primarily through farrier and veterinary supplies, we are making it readily available to you now. Orders of 100 or more
Most orders over $100 ship FREE to Continental US when you ship to a physical address (no PO boxes). When you choose free shipping, we usually ship via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Exclusions to our free shipping policy include:

- Heavy items
- Shipments of larger items to PO boxes

Shipping Times
Items stocked in our warehouse in Maine usually ship within 1-business day. These items will be indicated by an "In Stock" designation after you select your item. Items stocked at manufactuer's warehouses (designated by a stock status of "Ships in x-y days), may have a delay in shipping as we have to add their processing times to the shipping estimate. Once shipped, items are delivered in 1 to 5 days:
- New England customers typically receive their orders in 1-2 days
- West Coast customers typically receive their items in 4 to 5 business days.
- Mid-atlantic typically receive their orders in 2 to 3 days.
