EA Mattes Gold Half Pad w Rear Trim - Custom Sizes

The EA Mattes Gold Wool Half Pad with Trim is a part of the GOLD line pads, they hold the same high quality standards that you're used to with Mattes, at an affordable price. In place of sheepskin, these pads feature 1 1/4" dense, high loft wool bonded to fabric instead of the full sheepskin panels found on the Platinum pads. The front and rear trim is still made with real sheepskin, so you can have the look of an expensive pad at a more budget friendly price. The sheepskin trim will match the pad (black or white), the underside wool will be natural.

E. A. Mattes GOLD pads are made from the same design and high quality materials as the sheepskin pads, and the front and back rolls are sheepskin.

The anatomically correct topline design of Mattes Gold Pads follows the contours of the horse’s back and allows for a perfect fit under the saddle. The patented SPINE FREE® Design ensures the spine is not in contact with any seams, fabric, or tension which eliminates the risk of rubs and pressure on the sensitive area of the back around the spine.

The wool has natural properties including heat dissemination, breathability, and the ability to eliminate friction and bounce.
