The Wintec and Bates Easy Change Gullet System is a revolution in convenience and comfort for horses and riders.

It's a system developed to ensure that a saddle maintains the best fit for a horse by allowing riders to change a saddle's fit to suit a horse's changing shape.

That a gullet that is too wide may cause the saddle to sit on the horse's wither leading to damage of the spine?

To avoid damaging your horse's back, it is important to check the fit of your saddle regularly, regardless of discipline and type of saddle.

The Easy Change Gullet System works with Wintec and Bates Saddles and provides the flexibility of changing the fit of a saddle to suit a horse's changing shape. This means you don't need to buy a saddle for each horse you own and you don't need to buy a new saddle for a new horse.

The Easy Change Gullet System is available in a complete set as well as an individual gullet kit. You can easily determine the correct gullet width for your horse with an Easy Measure Gullet Gauge, which is included in the kit.

This Kit includes gullets narrow, medium narrow, medium wide, wide, and extra wide. Give your horse the comfort she or he deserves. Note: The gullet kit does not come with the medium gullet, the medium gullet comes in the saddles.

Please note that these gullets are only for use in the regular Wintec and Bates saddles - the Wintec and Bates WIDE saddles must use designated WIDE gullets. Use of regular gullets in a WIDE saddle or WIDE gullets in a regular saddle can cause damage to your saddle.
