The Korsteel Copper Mouth Eggbutt Snaffle encourages salivation which can lead to greater acceptance of the bit. This basic single jointed mouthpiece applies pressure to the sides of the tongue, bars and lips. When pressure is applied to the bit it tightens in the horse's mouth and the center joint can sometimes raise up to the roof of the mouth. The eggbutt cheeks help to keep the bit stable in the mouth.
