The Rhino Wug VariLayer Heavy Weight Turnout is a 450g waterproof blanket with a higher cut neck for extra protection in cold winter weather. The Rhino VariLayer Heavy has all of the great features seen in the Rambo turnouts, but has a 1000D polypropylene outer that protects the inner waterproof membrane making it harder for the waterproofing to be damaged. VariLayer technology creates an exceptionally warm blanket without bulk by concentrating more insulation at the top of the blanket where heat is lost and thinning that insulation as it moves down the sides of the blanket where less heat loss occurs.
