The shoes seemed fine walking around the store in them but they're terrible for riding. When the foot is in a flexed position like it is with your heels down in the stirrups, the synthetic leather has no give and hurts my child's foot. I thought they would soften in time but haven't. She complains they're painful to ride in. They're also difficult to zip. This is her 4th pair of paddock boots over the yrs but the first pair we've had issues with.
