The Toklat WoolBack Fleece Standard Western Saddle Pad is made with a lush, 1" WoolBack pile fleece that is both comfortable and durable, making it an ideal pad for everyday use.

WoolBack fleece was specifically designed to stand up to the rigors of every day riding. Wool's natural resiliencey reduces wear and with the proper care will provide years of soft, cushioned protection. While synthetics only trap moisture between fibers, wool actually absorbs 80% of its own weight in moisture. Because wool is also very porous, it allows for continuous air circulation and the release of moisture during use. Wool also has a unique structure of fibers that resists dirt penetration, and unlike any other fiber, it has minute "barbs" that grip the hair on your horse's back to keep the saddle pad from slipping.
