WH Ultra Soft Snaffle 16mm

The Herm Sprenger WH Ultra Soft Snaffle is a brilliant bit for starting young horses or for older horses who may need help relaxing the jaw. Developed by Lisa Wilcox and Ernst Hoyos, the Soft Snaffle has a soft but sturdy rubber center link softens rein aids. The aids given with the reins are carefully directed to the horses's tongue resulting in prompt chewing activities resulting in a relaxed horse. This bit can also help to prevent tongue problems and teeth grinding.

Sensogan is a metal alloy developed by Sprenger specifically for use in horse bits. Copper, Manganese and Zinc are combined to produce a metal that tastes better to the horse and promotes controlled salivation. When the horse salivates, they move the jaw and tongue which aids in relaxation.
