Cashel Jump Cushion Flat
Available in three thicknesses: 1/2", 3/4" and 1", plus tapered wedge and reverse wedge pads (1/2" to 1"). Flat cushions are helpful in preventing back soreness or in relieving pressure soreness once it has occurred.
Wedge cushions gradually increases from 1/2" thick at the front to 1 1/4" at the back. They provide increased protection over the sensitive back area or can be used to level your saddle.
Gradually decreasing from 1 1/4" at the front to 1/2" at the back, reverse wedge cushions are ideal for providing additional padding for the high withered/narrow shouldered horse. It also helps prevent the saddle from sliding forward and can be used to level the saddle.
Engineered to provide outstanding back protection and shock absorbency, your Cashel® Cushion is made with a unique closed-cell foam originally designed for the aerospace industry. Your durable Cashel Cushion will not collapse or absorb moisture and bacteria the way open-cell foam pads do, nor will it retain heat and add unnecessary weight the way liquid gel pads do. Conforming to your horse's back, your Cashel® Cushion will help relieve pressure points and is tapered at the edge to eliminate uncomfortable ridges, allowing closer contact with your horse. Place your Cashel Cushion (label side up) on an absorbent cloth pad and then place your saddle directly on top. Clean with water. Store flat. Do not place objects on top of your pad when storing.
Cool Option: Without changing the superior cushioning effects of the classic Cashel® Cushion, the Cool Cushion Option incorporates ventilating channels carved from the sides of the pad to air vents down the center, helping reduce the heat load, providing "breathability" and increasing your horse's comfort.

Items stocked in our warehouse in Maine usually ship within 1-business day. These items will be indicated by an "In Stock" designation after you select your item. Items stocked at manufactuer's warehouses (designated by a stock status of "Ships in x-y days), may have a delay in shipping as we have to add their processing times to the shipping estimate. Once shipped, items are delivered in 1 to 5 days:
- New England customers typically receive their orders in 1-2 days
- West Coast customers typically receive their items in 4 to 5 business days.
