The Charles Owen 4 Star Skull has been designed for the most extreme situations and is certified to the four top international standards. A technically superior helmet, the deep fitting 4 Star is the result of years of advanced computer analysis and incorporates the latest aramid fibers, embedded in a tough resin matrix for vastly improved crush resistance.

The 4 Star helmet also features the new Charles Owen "Free Fit" system which allows for increased airflow across the forehead by combining a frontal air channel with a CoolMax mesh to significantly increase the evaporation of sweat to keep you cooler.

I love Charles Owen helmets ...

I love Charles Owen helmets and I know they are super safe. This helmet is very comfortable and provides good coverage. I have gotten used to lower profile helmets however so this one just felt huge! I decided to return it and shop around for a Charles Owen that has a lower profile shell. I would recommend this helmet though if the size doesn’t bother you.

Charles Owen knocks it out ...

Charles Owen knocks it out of the park with the 4Star helmet. First helmet to have the SNELL APPROVAL! Motorcycle helmets carry SNELL rating as do NASCAR drivers helmets, as do other high octane motorsports. The 4Star carries an additional 3 top ratings. Great fit and comfortable to wear all day, It's the perfect helmet for xc, schooling, trail.
