EA Mattes Gold Half Pad

The EA Mattes Gold Wool Half Pad is made from the same design and high quality materials as the sheepskin half pad but features 1 1/4" dense, high loft wool pile bonded to fabric instead of the full sheepskin panels. The outer quilt is a high quality cotton/polyester blend quilted fabric. The front trim is still made with real sheepskin, so you can have the look of an expensive pad at a more budget friendly price. The sheepskin trim will match the pad (black or white), the underside wool will be natural and not colored, it is not black. With this pad, natural colored wool will be visible on both White and Black options.

• Shaped to fit dressage or all purpose saddles
• Underside is 1 1/4" heavy pile wool bonded to fabric (no sheepskin)
• Front roll is made of real sheepskin dyed black or white to match the pad
• Quilted pad is durable and maintains its shape so it stays in place

• Because the front roll is sheepskin, it is recommended to use Melp when washing the pad

Please note:

because the underside is made with natural high loft wool, natural colored wool is visible even on the black option. The wool is not dyed.

The SPINEFREE^® design reliably prevents any pressure around the withers and spine. The secure SADDLE-FIX® system allows the top seam of the half-pad to sit comfortably in the gullet of the saddle.

The core of the half-pad is made of two layers: POLY-FLEX® (a deep-needled polyester felt) is used to maintain the shape and spread the pressure, while polyester wadding provides padding. They completely avoid foam, neoprene or gel, making the whole pad breathable.
