Farriers Formula was developed to provide the nutrients needed to enable horses to build strong structural and connective tissue proteins (tendons, ligaments, bones, joints). Developed almost 30 years ago, Farrier's Formula has always contained nutrients such as phospholipids, omega fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and important amino acid "protein building blocks".

Connective tissue proteins combine to form fibers which may crosslink with adjacent fibers. The joined fibers strength is dependent on the number of crosslinks. So far so good

We are on our 3rd bucket of Farriers Formula Double strength. I can already tell where my mare's hoof is growing out and it looks better/stronger. Her hooves keep chipping off and she has cracks in them, especially the white ones. I took pictures of her hooves when we first started. I will wait another round or 2 before I take more pictures and post another review including the photos. So Far so Good. I purchased this product based upon a recommendation of a friend.
