Herm Sprenger Short Shank Padded Nose Hackamore

In stock
Herm Sprenger Short Shank Hackamore is a bit alternative used when the horse is not accepting of a bit or has an injury to the mouth. The hackamore applies pressure to the poll, the bridge of the nose, and the area behind the chin. It can be extremely effective but does not allow the reins to be used for direct or opening aids.

Herm Sprenger from Germany is renowned for its outstanding quality and technologically advanced designs. The Sprenger seal of quality guarantees safety and precision workmanship for over 135 years.

Features include:

  • Padded leather noseband with adjustable leather curb strap
  • Cheeks are stainless steel and relatively short 13cm (5.1") reducing the nose pressure

This style of hackamore should sit halfway between where a cavesson and drop noseband would lie.
