The JP Hunter Dee Dr. Bristol has attractive dee rings and comfortable curved bars. The Dr. Bristol link applies tongue pressure when required by rider. Unlike a standard jointed snaffle bits with nearly straight mouthpieces, all JP bits feature curved bars that prevent the bit from hitting the roof of the horse's mouth and eliminate the nutcracker-like action that can pinch a horse's tongue.
