Korsteel Heavyweight 16mm Solid Mouth Loose Ring - 4.5

The Korsteel Heavy Weight Solid Mouth Loose Ring is a traditional single jointed loose ring snaffle with a 16mm mouthpiece that is thinner and often more comfortable for horses with smaller mouths, low palates or large tongues. The single jointed snaffle applies pressure to the edges of the tongue, the bars and lips. As rein pressure is applied, the bit becomes tighter in the horse's mouth and often the center link will push into the palate. The loose rings allow the bit to more easily find a natural position in the horses mouth and to immediately release back into that position when rein pressure is released. This action makes the single jointed loose ring an ideal bit for teaching the horse to give to pressure in early training.
