The Korsteel Medium Weight Solid Mouth Eggbutt Bit is a good, basic single jointed snaffle bit suitable for horses of all ages and levels. The single jointed mouthpiece applies pressure to the sides of the tongue, bars and lips. When pressure is applied to the bit it tightens in the mouth applying more pressure to the lips and bars. The Eggbutt cheeks help to keep the bit quiet in the horse's mouth.
