Pessoa Lungeing System
The Pessoa Lungeing System aids the horse in finding the proper balance and form to correctly build muscle. Invented by International show jumping rider, Nelson Pessoa, this system is designed to encourage balance and a gradual build-up of topline. It consists of an easy-to-put-together array of ropes, clips and pulleys, as well as a breeching strap that passes behind the horse's hindquarters and is used in conjunction with a training surcingle while the horse is being lunged.
Based on principles of pressure and release, the Pessoa Lungeing System helps to place the horse in a better position to assist muscle build-up, and increases use of the horse's back muscles. It can assist maintenance of muscle tone in fit horses, while less experienced horses can be guided into the correct shape. The Pessoa Lungeing System can be used in four different positions, depending on the horse's level of training and fitness.
System Includes:Soft rope, pulleys and fleece covered elastic cord breeching.
This system requires a Surcingle and Lunging Caveson/Bridle - Sold Separately.
Size guidelines- This product is made with a high level of adjustability.
- Pony: 12-14 hands
- Horse: 15-17 hands
This advanced training device should be used by an experienced handler with a horse that has had experience ground driving before using this system.

Orders of 100 or more
Most orders over $100 ship FREE to Continental US when you ship to a physical address (no PO boxes). When you choose free shipping, we usually ship via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Exclusions to our free shipping policy include:

Items stocked in our warehouse in Maine usually ship within 1-business day. These items will be indicated by an "In Stock" designation after you select your item. Items stocked at manufactuer's warehouses (designated by a stock status of "Ships in x-y days), may have a delay in shipping as we have to add their processing times to the shipping estimate. Once shipped, items are delivered in 1 to 5 days:
