My mare gets these sores too. Machine wash and air dry. In order to keep her legs healthy, after the sores are healed, she only wears at night so her legs get plenty of fresh air during the day when she doesn't lay down/roll as much.The neoprene stops air from getting in so I don't leave them on 24/7.

My horse tears the front of her fetlocks to shreds when she lies down. These boots completely cover the affected area - even if they get twisted around! They're comfortable and washable - I have two pairs so she can wear one pair while I'm washing the other. Wish I'd known about these a long time ago!

I only recently began to use this on my mare who has sore problems on the front of her fetlocks. The boots are light but seem to provide just enough extra cushioning for her when she is getting up and down. They stay in place well and are easy to clean (I just throw in the wash and air dry). I am content with the product for now, but it will take some time for her to heal etc. to see if they really meet my expectations.
