Quiessence Magnesium and Chromium Pellet supplement is ideal for those sensitive, tight and nervous horses. A great addition to the diet of any horse that is tight with tense muscles that are slow to warm up, or have sore tight backs. Nervous and tense horses that show an inability to learn and concentrate or horses with nerve conditions as well.
Quiessence may also help horses that are cresty-necked to reduce the crest and may help reduce the tendency to founder by supporting normal glucose metabolism and increasing peripheral circulation.
Legal for competition with no known side effects. Each 1oz serving contains 7 hm magnesium oxide, 1gm magnesium proteinate and 1.25 mg chromium piccolinate.Directions: 1 oz per 250 lbs body weight daily to start; drop to 1/2 oz daily when improvement is evident. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven.
Magnesium should not be given to horses with impaired kidney function or those with restricted water intakes. Chromium should not be given to horses with PSSM/EPSM.

Most orders over $100 ship FREE to Continental US when you ship to a physical address (no PO boxes). When you choose free shipping, we usually ship via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Exclusions to our free shipping policy include:

Shipping Times
Items stocked in our warehouse in Maine usually ship within 1-business day. These items will be indicated by an "In Stock" designation after you select your item. Items stocked at manufactuer's warehouses (designated by a stock status of "Ships in x-y days), may have a delay in shipping as we have to add their processing times to the shipping estimate. Once shipped, items are delivered in 1 to 5 days:
- New England customers typically receive their orders in 1-2 days
- West Coast customers typically receive their items in 4 to 5 business days.
