Weatherbeeta 1200D Parka Dog Coat

Overall quality is very good. These were in short supply in my dog's size during the cold snap, so I settled on this one. Picture shows one cartoon fox on each side. Actually it is covered with cartoon foxes and a little too much, but I 'll keep it 'cause it works.

I've used this coat for three years on my English cocker spaniel. It's his "snow suit", but he also wears it in rain, sleet, etc. The coat has held up spectacularly, just like Weatherbeeta's horse blankets. Quincy looks spiffy in the hunter/navy combination. I don't think it will ever wear out.

I was looking for a warm waterproof dog coat for my outside lab mix. I really like the heavy duty outer shell of this coat. Seems really durable it has survived rough playing with my other dogs. I would like it more if it had hind leg straps or something to keep the back end down when the dog is laying down curled up, it doesn't lay down on her back when she is in this position. I like the reflective strips and would love if there was more on the coat. Overall I think its a good coat and helps keep my dog warm and dry on cold nights.

If you're looking for something to keep them warm and dry in the wet or cold, then this is a great coat! This is definitely not something you'd leave them in all day! It is great for letting them out in bad weather and keeping them mostly dry! Lets face it, bellies and feet will always be splash zones! This is wonderful for taking them for walks in the cold! It's solidly constructed, washable, and looks great! The reflective straps are a must! The belly strap is adjustable, which is great since I have two goldens about the same size, but one is slightly thinner. A basic coat, nothing fancy, but works great! We have four dogs and they are all in the weatherbeeta parka!
