White Lightning 60ml Gel
The chlorine in White Lightning helps to remove the biofilm of bacteria and fungus, leaving the organisms vulnerable to oxygen which may help to kill them. The solution works quickly so that organisms have little time to adapt and develop a tolerance. While it creates a harsh environment for microorganisms, it will not harm living tissue.
Easy to use White Lightning Gel formula allows for application directly to the hoof and already contains the active chlorine dioxide solution (no mixing required). It is recommended that you apply the gel 2-3 times per week for 4-6 weeks for the treatment of thrush or white line disease and then 1-2 times weekly until the hoof has completely grown out. For the treatment of skin fungus, the gel can be applied 2-3 times per week for 2 weeks and then 1-2 times per week until it is healed.
